After gathering a team – while gaining their loyalty – and building all available ship upgrades, going through the relay will initiate the end game of the Mass Effect 2 suicide mission. Inside this asteroid field of broken ship parts is a Collector base teeming with enemies for Commander Shepard to fight. The Mass Effect 2 final mission takes place on the other side of the Omega 4 relay – a desolate ship scrap yard of failed attempts at mapping out the destination. Occasionally, you'll even hit enemies you weren't expecting to.In this Mass Effect 2 walkthrough, there will be details of the final mission in the game and an explanation on how to go about completing it effectively. (Hey, it was a big deal for me! Collector Particle Beam looks very odd if you're not wearing collector armor)

The AoE potential on the Arc Projector is insane. Hard to waste ammo with misses (especially moving targets)

Ammo Count - relatively high for a heavy weapon.Quickly available - selectable as soon as you get back from Freedom's Progress (If not before? Maybe? Unsure). The Arc Projector's time is fast enough that you can pop out, fire, and duck back into cover without taking any health damage. Things like the Cain and the Blackstorm have lengthy charge up times, which can be the death of you (literally) on higher difficulties. ZoogieZork has a good answer about why the Particle Beam is good, so I'll restrict myself to the Arc Projector. My two favorites are the Collector Particle Beam and the Arc Projector.
